GTA CUE privacy policy

Gifftrippaudio LLC · GTA CUE 1.2.29 Effective date: September 27, 2026. Public support/privacy contact: gifftrippaudio@gmail.com.

GTA CUE discovers compatible audio sources on your local network and receives the channel you select. Audio decoding, metering and playback take place on your iPhone. The app has no app account, advertising, analytics SDK or developer-operated cloud audio service.

Local network communication

With Local Network permission, the app exchanges discovery and stream-control messages with network devices and receives audio packets from the selected source. You manually choose the interface. If you start a source-range scan, it sends discovery queries to the IPv4 addresses you specify, up to 256 addresses per scan. Saved range fields do not trigger scans automatically.

Network devices you contact can observe your network address and protocol messages. The selected transmitter receives a receiver name containing a random installation identifier stored by the app. This is not an advertising identifier. The app requests, maintains and releases its own receive flow; it does more than passively observe existing traffic.

Local storage and retention

Preferences include the chosen interface, sample rate, playback profile, source-range endpoints, installation receiver identity, appearance options, Latch CUE preference and saved source/channel memory names. The latest Tune failure is saved separately. A local diagnostic file retains up to 3,000 recent events, replacing the oldest as new events are added. Events can include source/channel names, network addresses and ports, interface details, timestamps, stream settings, errors, packet/buffer statistics, playback-recovery counters and monitor-protection activity. The current app does not automatically upload these diagnostics.

Audio is temporarily buffered in memory for playback and is not saved as an audio recording. The app does not request microphone, camera, contacts or location access.

You can disconnect, revoke Local Network permission in iOS Settings, or delete the app. Deleting removes its local app data from the device; offloading may keep that data. Your device or computer backups may retain earlier copies according to your backup settings. GTA CUE does not operate its own cloud backup service.

Support you choose to request

If you contact support, we receive the email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Diagnostic files may contain network details, so review them before sending. Support correspondence is separate from normal app operation.

We use messages only to respond and resolve the request; retain them while the request is active and delete them within 90 days after closure unless you request continued assistance or retention is required by law. Support correspondence is processed through Gmail, provided by Google. It may include your email address, message and attachments.
