Get connected

  1. Connect your iPhone to a network containing a compatible transmitter. Ethernet is preferred. Allow Local Network access.
  2. Open Settings → Network. Select the adapter, choose Wired playback for Ethernet, and match the transmitter’s sample rate.
  3. Open Source, choose a source and channel, close that panel and tap Tune.
  4. Check for moving meters, tap CUE, then raise the listening volume knob. CUE and listening volume start off/zero.

Controls and memories

Use +/− or tap the channel display to select a channel. Hold a numbered memory button to save a source/channel; tap to recall. Names are saved, not an IP route. The source still has to be available. A channel change resets local trim to 0 dB.

Trim runs from −6 to +24 dB. The volume knob controls listening level separately. Choose pre-trim or post-trim metering in Options. Post-trim metering is after local protection and before listening volume, so a moving meter does not establish audible output.

Latch CUE is optional and off by default. When enabled, a successful channel change resumes CUE only if it was already on. A failed tune, disconnect or backgrounding mutes it. Enabling the option does not start listening.

Appearance and silent demo

Settings → Options offers knob styles, segmented/analog/blank meter choices, perimeter meters and other display preferences. Vegas mode is a clearly labeled, silent visual demo. It stops real reception, uses simulated meters, and does not play sound. Turn it off for real network audio.

Formats and connection limits

Manual 44.1, 48, 96 and 192 kHz selection; supported 24-bit or 32-bit signed-integer PCM; one mono channel at a time. Device and format compatibility depend on the transmitter. This is not 32-bit float recording. There is no AVB, multicast audio subscription, redundant network path or PTP-locked output.

Keep the app in the foreground. Locking or backgrounding disconnects reception; output-route changes mute listening. Monitor limiting and gain reduction are not calibrated hearing protection.

Wi-Fi and discovery

Experimental Wi-Fi playback requires an access point connected to the audio network. Quick, Program and Extra use 60/160/300 ms buffer targets, not total latency. Wireless performance and loss depend on your setup. An IPv4 scan can query up to 256 reachable addresses but does not change the phone’s network configuration.

Troubleshooting

No sources: check Local Network permission, adapter, reachability and transmitter discovery. Tuned without level: verify the selected transmitter channel carries audio and match its rate. Level without sound: check CUE, volume and the output route. Interrupted stream: retune and inspect Diagnostics. Include the saved Tune error in a support message if helpful.

When contacting support, include app version, iPhone/iOS, source model, channel/rate and connection type. Diagnostic sharing is optional; the app has no automatic uploader.
